Tommy Fury is nipping this rumor in the bud.
Two days after he and his Love Island U.K. costar Molly-Mae Hague announced their breakup after five years together—subsequently breaking off their one-year engagement—the 25-year-old is “distraught” by allegations of his infidelity, his rep told The Mirror, as they couldn’t be “further from the truth.”
“Tommy is horrified by the false allegations of cheating being circulated by the media,” his rep added to the outlet. “He’s consulting his lawyers.”
And while Tommy and Molly-Mae—who share 19-month old daughter Bambi together—have not spoken out about the reason for their surprising breakup, they each shared separate statements informing their fans of the news.
“Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this,” Molly-Mae wrote in an Aug. 14 Instagram Story. “After five years together, I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way."
The 25-year-old shared news of the couple’s split, noting they planned to center their daughter going forward.
“I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me, now and always, my beautiful daughter,” she added. “Without us, there would be no her. She will always be my priority.”
And after sharing the news, Molly-Mae also noted she would be taking a social media break.
“I want to thank you for all of the love you have shown us over the last five years,” she finished. “You have all been part of our journey and I feel it’s right to share this with you all.”
For his part, Tommy expressed regret for the breakup and shared a similar sentiment when it came to coparenting the duo’s daughter.
“The past five years have led us to have our beautiful baby girl,” he wrote in his own Aug. 14 Instagram Story. “I will forever be grateful to Molly-Mae for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority."
